SCARA robot RS07-10Z40H is an industrial SCARA robot: 4 axes, 10 kg payload, 700 mm reach, ±0.025 mm repeatability. It is built for handling and sorting, assembly and kitting, packaging and palletizing, marking and quality control and other repetitive work where cycle time and consistency decide the cost per part.
Size it by the two constraints that cannot be worked around: the mass at the wrist — part, gripper, cabling and any sensor together — and the furthest point the tool must reach at full extension. Everything else follows from those.
Four-axis kinematics is rigid vertically and compliant horizontally, which makes SCARA faster than a jointed arm on flat, repetitive work: inserting components, stacking trays, feeding testers. It cannot approach a part from the side — anything needing tool angle requires a six-axis robot.
