Two-Axis Welding Positioners

Two-axis welding positioners rotate and tilt the workpiece, bringing any seam on a three-dimensional part into the flat position. Eight models from 250 to 500 kg capacity.

Tilt is what a single-axis table cannot do: welded frames, brackets, gearbox housings and machinery bases have seams on several planes, and without tilt the robot must reach over the part at an angle that degrades both the weld and the reachable envelope.

The WB2CH adds an adjustable distance between headstock and tailstock, which suits a family of parts of different lengths on one fixture. Capacity figures include the fixture, and fixture mass on a two-axis table is frequently comparable to the part.
