3 HP-series robots for grinding, deburring, milling and polishing, 15 to 35 kg payload and 1516 to 1842 mm reach. Against a conventional industrial robot the factory states 100% higher mechanical stiffness and 50% more overload capacity — reducers on J1–J3 with hypoid gears on J4–J6 — plus 30% better path accuracy and a 25–30% shorter cycle. Hollow shafts (J1 Ø106 mm, J4/J6 Ø57 mm) carry the cabling inside, and the J5 axis turns ±180°. For heavy stock removal a machine tool is still the better answer: these are for finishing and edge work.

Not sure which model fits?

Send the part weight, the reach you need and the cycle. We will name the model — and say plainly if a robot is not the right answer for it.

Grinding, milling and polishing robots — the surface finishing and material removal range — handle deburring, grinding, sanding and polishing of metal, composite and plastic parts. 3 models, 15 to 35 kg payload, reach 1516 to 1842 mm.

HP stands for Higher Productivity. For HP robots the factory states a 25–30% shorter cycle time, 100% higher mechanical stiffness, 50% higher overload capacity and 30% better accuracy than its standard arms.

Used for weld bead dressing, casting and forging flash removal, edge breaking on machined parts, and finishing of composite panels. Payload must cover the spindle, tool changer and force-control unit as well as the tool itself — weigh the actual package you will mount.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the HP designation mean?
Higher Productivity. For HP robots the factory states a 25–30% shorter cycle time, 100% higher mechanical stiffness, 50% higher overload capacity and 30% better accuracy than its standard arms.
Hollow shafts — Ø106 mm on J1 and Ø57 mm on J4–J6 — carry the cabling inside the arm, and the J5 axis turns ±180°.
What payload do I need for grinding and polishing?
The payload must cover the spindle, tool changer and force-control unit as well as the tool itself — weigh the actual package you will mount.
The 3 models in this range cover 15 to 35 kg payload and 1516 to 1842 mm reach, so check your spindle package first and choose from there.
What materials and operations does this cover?
Deburring, grinding, sanding and polishing of metal, composite and plastic parts: weld bead dressing, casting and forging flash removal, edge breaking on machined parts, and finishing of composite panels.
Do I need force control?
For a surface that varies part to part — castings, welded assemblies, anything with process tolerance — yes: without it the robot follows the programmed path and removes too much in some places and too little in others.
For machined parts held in a rigid fixture, position control alone is usually enough. Tell us the part and we will say which you need.
What warranty and support do you provide?
Two years warranty on the robot, worldwide, export included.
Technical support is online: our engineers consult on setup, programming questions and fault-finding by video call. Spare parts are shipped directly from the factory.
CRP production is certified to ISO 9001, and the factory reports its products are certified to an MTBF above 100,000 hours.
