Robot Applications
Each page below covers one production task rather than one type of robot: what the cell looks like, which models suit it and what decides the choice. Use them to match a job on your shop floor to a specific configuration.
Robotic Bag and Sack Palletizing
Stacking 25 and 50 kg bags by hand is the job most plants automate first.
Robotic Arc Welding of Steel Structures
Robotic arc welding pays for itself in two places: consistent penetration on repeated seams, and the ability to weld downhand on parts that a manual welder has to reach around.
Robotic CNC Machine Tending
A CNC machine earns money while the spindle turns.
Robotic Case and Carton Palletizing
End-of-line palletizing is where most food and beverage plants meet their first robot.
Robotic Deburring, Grinding and Polishing
Deburring and finishing is the process most fabricators automate last and regret not automating first.
Robotic Laser Welding of Sheet Metal
Laser welding changed the economics of visible seams on thin stainless.
