Not sure which model fits?

Send the part weight, the reach you need and the cycle. We will name the model — and say plainly if a robot is not the right answer for it.

CRP industrial robots cover payloads from 3 to 360 kg and reach from 400 to 3444 mm across 61 models. The range spans arc welding, palletizing, machine tending, material removal, laser processing, collaborative and SCARA robots, so most cells on a shop floor can be built from one catalogue, and every CRP robot, whatever the series, is programmed from the teach pendant.

Model codes carry the two figures buyers compare first: in CRP-RA15-12 the 15 is reach in decimetres (1510 mm) and the 12 is rated payload in kilograms. That makes shortlisting quicker — RH14-10-W is a 1.4 m, 10 kg welding arm, RA28-360 a 2.8 m, 360 kg handling arm.

Choose by the two constraints that cannot be worked around: the mass at the wrist including gripper and cabling, and the furthest point the tool must reach at full extension. Everything else — cycle time, repeatability, protection class — follows from those.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which robot type suits my operation?
Six-axis arms approach the tool from any angle — needed for reaching into machines, tilting parts and placing at an angle. Four-axis palletizers keep the load level and are faster for stacking. SCARA robots suit flat, repetitive work but cannot approach a part from the side.
If the approach is always vertical and the part is flat, six axes are not needed. If any operation needs tool angle, four axes will not do it.
How do I calculate the payload I need?
Add everything the wrist carries: the heaviest part, the gripper or torch, the tool changer, cabling and any sensor. Size against that total, not the part alone.
A frequent and expensive mistake is specifying against part weight and discovering the gripper takes up a third of the rating.
How is reach measured?
To the furthest point the tool must reach at full extension — including the last layer of a finished stack or the far corner of a machine table, not the near edge.
Reach also decides how many machines one robot can serve: measure from the robot base to the furthest load point of every machine and infeed in the cell. The first two digits of a CRP model code give the reach in decimetres — RA15-12 reaches 1510 mm.
What repeatability can I expect?
Repeatability figures are stated per model in the specification table on each product page, and they describe returning to a taught point — not absolute accuracy across the working envelope.
For welding and handling this is the figure that matters. For metrology or fine assembly, tell us the tolerance you need and we will say plainly whether a robot holds it.
What warranty and support do you provide?
Two years warranty on the robot, worldwide, export included.
Technical support is online: our engineers consult on setup, programming questions and fault-finding by video call. Spare parts are shipped directly from the factory.
CRP production is certified to ISO 9001, and the factory reports its products are certified to an MTBF above 100,000 hours.
