Lift-and-rotate positioner WB1LZ: welding positioner for robotic welding cells

Lift-and-rotate positioner WB1LZ is a 1-axis welding positioner with a capacity of 350–2000 kg depending on version. It holds and turns the workpiece so the robot welds in the flat position.

The system combines synchronized lifting and rotary positioning. Servo-driven axes, RV-type gearboxes and industrial-grade guides provide smooth motion, stable holding and reliable operation during long welding cycles.

One rotation axis suits cylindrical and symmetrical parts: pipe spools, flanges, wheels, shafts, drums and pressure vessel shells. The robot welds a stationary seam while the part turns underneath it.

Capacity figures include the fixture. Check the swing envelope at full rotation as well as the footprint: the part sweeps a larger circle than it occupies at rest.
