Three-axis positioner WB3CC is a 3-axis welding positioner with a capacity of 500–1500 kg depending on version. It holds and turns the workpiece so the robot welds in the flat position.
The positioner combines a main rotation axis with additional turning axes for accurate workpiece orientation. Independent drives, RV-type gearboxes and a rigid load-bearing structure ensure smooth motion, stable operation under load and repeatable positioning.
Three axes; their layout on this model is given in the specifications. It provides two working zones: loading and unloading are done in one while the robot continues welding in the other. It offers fast part changeover without stopping the robot cycle and higher productivity thanks to a continuous operating cycle. Whether a three-axis positioner is justified depends on the part and the cycle — send us the drawing and we will say.
Capacity figures include the fixture. Check the swing envelope at full rotation as well as the footprint: the part sweeps a larger circle than it occupies at rest.
